PREAMBLE

We believe the Bible to be inspired of God, the infallible Word of God. "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness"
(II Timothy 3:16, II Peter 1:20 & 21).

The Bible is the only God-given authority which man possesses; therefore, all doctrine, faith, hope and all instruction for New Life Apostolic Church must be based upon and harmonize with the Bible.

FUNDAMENTAL DOCTRINE

The basic and fundamental doctrine of this church shall be the Bible standard of salvation which is repentance, baptism in water by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the initial sign of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance (John 3:5, Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38).

DOCTRINAL BELIEFS

Godhead
We believe that Jesus was both man and God. As man Jesus was born of a woman and begotten of God (Matthew 1:21-23). "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God," (John 1:1) Jesus as the Word of God became flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:14). We believe the fullness of the Godhead dwelt in the humanity of Christ (Colossians 2:9).

The Name Of God
There are many names used for God; God Almighty, Lord, Jehovah but we believe the New Testament name of God is Jesus taken from the Greek word Jehoshua. Jehoshua was taken from the Hebrew words meaning Jehovah saved. Matthew 1:21 informs us that his name shall be called Jesus. In verse 23, his name is Immanuel which being interpreted is God with us. Thus, we believe Jehovah under the Old Testament translates to Jesus under the New Testament.

Divine Healing
Our lord Jesus Christ went about Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing all manner of sickness and disease among the people (Matthew 4:23-24). James 5:14-16, "Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church, let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: and the prayer of faith shall saved the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" Jesus said, "They shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover".

Communion
We believe in following 1 Corinthians 11 in regards to the observance of communion and foot washing.

Translation of Saints
We believe those alive and or dead in Christ will be caught away when Jesus comes for His Church
 (1 Thessalonians 4, 1 Corinthians 15 and Philippians 3).

Marriage
God has ordained marriage throughout His word as recorded in the King James Version of the Bible. New Life Apostolic Church defines "marriage" based upon the Bible, as the exclusive covenantal union of one man and one woman, as the sex they were initial born and recorded on their original birth certificate. Any sanctioned union will be recognized as a legitimate marriage by this church only to the extent it is consistent with marriage as defined by this church.

Human Sexuality
God has established the sexes and sexuality in creation found in Genesis 2:21-24 and throughout the Bible. Scripture teaches sexual relations are to be exercised solely within marriage of a husband (male) and a wife (female). Matthew 19:4-9, Ephesians 5:22-28, and Hebrews 13:4 and throughout the Bible. In accordance with the scriptures, the Word of God, New Life Apostolic Church views illicit sexual relations to include adultery, prostitution, pedophilia, bestiality, lascivious conduct, sexalteration, and the view of pornography as sin and against the teaching of the Bible.
